DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (March 27, 2018) – Vann Data is hosting a technology and electronics recycling drive on Thursday, April 19, 2018. This annual event provides a valuable opportunity for residents and businesses of Volusia County to dispose of their old electronics for free, with the peace of mind that their devices will be properly handled by one of the state’s leading certified e-recyclers, A-1 Assets of Longwood.
The collection event will be held on Thursday, April 19th, from 10am-2pm, in the parking lot of Vann Data, 1801 Dunn Avenue in Daytona Beach. At that time, computers, servers, LCD and CRT monitors, printers, phones, office equipment, stereo systems, circuit boards and many more types of electronics will be accepted. All items will be accepted, reusable or not. The only item not accepted is televisions.
“In the ten years Vann Data has offered this service to our community, we have collected over 119 tons of discarded computer equipment, reducing the amount of hazardous materials and electronic scrap in our landfill”, said Janice Huffstickler, President of Vann Data Services.
