Vann Data Hosts 9th Annual Electronics Recycling Event for Earth Day
March 25, 2016
Vann Data is hosting an electronics recycling drive on April 22, 2016 in commemoration of Earth Day. This annual event provides a valuable opportunity for residents and businesses of Volusia County to dispose of their old electronics for free, with the peace of mind that their devices will be properly handled by one of the state’s leading certified e-recyclers, A-1 Assets of Longwood.
The collection event will be held on Friday, April 22nd, from 10am-2pm, in the parking lot of Vann Data, 1801 Dunn Avenue in Daytona Beach. At that time, computers, servers, LCD and CRT monitors, printers, phones, office equipment, stereo systems, circuit boards and many more types of electronics will be accepted. All items will be accepted, reusable or not.
“In the eight years Vann Data has offered this service to our community, we have collected over 86 tons of discarded computer equipment, reducing the amount of hazardous materials and electronic scrap in our landfill”, said Janice Huffstickler, President of Vann Data Services. For more information, please contact Vann Data at 386-236-2707.

LUNCH & LEARN - HP & Windows 7
Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
We appreciate the 20+ attendees for our first Lunch and Learn session of 2012 who were treatedto a spectacular lunch and a solution that is built to perform - tough, reliable HP PCs with Windows 7 Professional. We demonstrated how new levels of productivity, collaboration and protection in any business situation can be met. Adding Office 2010 to new HP PCs pre-installed with Windows 7 Professional will ensure a robust system that's built for today's shifting mobile-flexible businesses to be more efficient and focus on your business...not your PCs. Contact us if you would like more information.
Results are in from our 5th Annual Computer Recycling Event!
Vann Data Services and A-1 Assets collected 26,846 lbs during our Earth Day event held on Friday, April 20, 2012. This represented a 20% increase from last year and Stewart Marchman Foundation was the benefactor for 100% of the proceeds donated from participants. Special thanks to our clients and the community in “Going Green” by recycling electronic devices. Our appreciation also to Coca Cola Distributing for the donation of refreshments!
